Lowball offers really piss me off. They just hope you are hungry and will accept it. Just remember, we are out of land and you have something very valuable. I went to a meeting in Upland on Monday night. We are out of land. The realtors are running scared. Prices are started to really climb.
I have a dog crate that I paid $120 for, and I am selling it for $50. Some bonehead said "well, I can't afford $50, but will you take $40." I advised for $45 you got a deal. He didn't budge, so either did I. I will throw it away before I accept $40 for it.

I countered the offer at 20k less than asking. I googled the house he sold to buy this one. He paid 300k for it 30 years ago and just sold it for 2.5 million. He is an all cash buyer. I think he can afford to come up to a fair price. Problem is his realtor is not from around here and is using the tract homes below me for comps since there is very little ranch property for sale around here.
I'm better at taking care of your fleet of vehicles, but with guidance I am sure that I can get it done. I do know what carpentry tools are. I don't mind doing finish carpentry or painting.
