I went to my G/F's mom's "convalescent home" every other day for a few years. We ate with these folks, played seated volleyball, games and other fun things with them. I would sit with someone different every day while we ate lunch. Them old folks are a hoot. There was one ol' Navy captain, who I grew fond of. He knew the war, but didn't know his name. I just found it sad that his family just dumped him there, never to return. I made lots of friends, watched them die, and made sure they were not alone.

Thank you and Bless you Mark, it's a honor to know you.

I've seen that at the independent living home my mom was at. A lot of times the families slow down enough the get the car door back closed. A lot of times people can't separate the aging disease from the person. I visited mom every day and always saw the same folks sitting in the lobby waiting for anyone to show them some attention. I learned a lot of names, most of the dogs names, all the employees and the kitchen staff. I'm going to miss visiting with a lot of them.

Feel like a creepy guy. Someone is looking at our house so in sitting a block away spying on them.

I should have done that. I am told they are submitting an offer

Got a lowball offer in my house today. 70k less than asking. Gonna counter at a fair price, not looking like this one is going anywhere.
