This is for Scout. Here is my baby, that I was forced to sell when I got my divorce. I still miss it!

I was talking to the president at the development I work for and he has seen basement walls move a handful of times and the engineers came to the conclusion it's a mix of small footing size, tall walls and length of wall. Winter time and non cured concrete doesn't help the situation. The fix they found was to pour the floor and the install the floor joists and sheeting for the next floor prior to backfill.

I thought that was common practice? I've never heard of backfilling before pouring the floor and installing the first floor.

Having raid heartbeat again. Just enough to be uncomfortable.
Have you tried taking a magnesium supplement? Apparently a lot of people are deficient and it can cause heart rhythm problems and insomnia. I take and it seems to help control the skipped beats I can get occasionally... and I've been sleeping like a rock too. If you do try it, make sure you get magnesium glycinate so it won't upset your stomach.

This is idaho, they do things a little backwards. They like us to backfill the basement then dig for the rest of the house footings and then backfill that and prep the concrete for the basement at the same time as the garage.

So today I dug out behind the basement walls and the general put screw Jack's in. One wall went back to straight and the other is close. I was surprised as hell.

Mine is caused by low hemoglobin. One of the side effects of that wonderful vaccine.

Good morning. Tried to sleep in, but got a scam phone call and then someone at the door. 10 with -7 wind chill.

"...a rock..." uh, a 'rock' that snores loud enough to shake the walls !
I have had to taken to using duct tape to the things hanging on the walls to keep them there !

After 5 days of fighting my health insurance, I was finally able to get a 5% lidocaine patch for my left bicep. I put it on last night at 9PM, and for the first time in 3 months, I slept like a baby. Darn little patch is a blessing.
