Afraid so Ken, I prefer NHRA myself.

MOKAN dragway is about 20 miles from here. Raced there a couple times many years ago. And if you like circle track, Lowes motor Speedway is 40 miles from here. Plus we have a 1/2 mile track here.

Pomona's NHRA Winternationals is happening this week, which is about 10 miles from our house. Today, when the top fuelers race down the track, we will be able to hear them. I went every year when my neighbor had season tickets, but he gave them up and haven't been since.

Nice. I had a friend that lived in Jacksonville Florida and I would go down every year for the Gator Nationals.
Sadly he got divorced and moved.

Back in the day when cars were hand painted, my oldest brother who died about 3 weeks ago, did the lettering on cars at the Columbus Ohio races. When I visited him about 20 years ago, he was lettering on a Suzuki experimental motorcycle. I did some of that locally when I first graduated high school at our race track. Last I did was on a box truck that I had for carpet installations, probably 15 years ago.

Last time I raced at the drags I was driving a '62 Falcon. That 6 cyl Falcon was beating 283 Chevy V8s. On the circle track it was a '55 Ford.

I tore my bicep tendons. They attach to the shoulder. They need to pull and stitch the tendons, and tighten my shoulder socket.

Pretty sure that's what's also wrong with mine along with the ac joint

The annual Shelbyfest is the first week in May as always in Jeff City, WE will have access to the track during this week. I believe it will be Thurs or Fri or both...

I hope it makes it. Years ago there was the old I 70 speedway near KC. It went broke. As did the drag strip KCIR.

I e wierd heart beat issues for a couple months now. I thinks it's a covid thing. Never had a problem before in my life

I am on meds. Mine got to 168 two years ago. I think mine this time is because of low hemoglobin.
