KOMRADE KAMALA Wants to Raise Taxes by $5 Trillion

Corporate Tax Rate to 28%

Capital Gains Tax More Than Double China

"Under the Harris plan, the combined federal-state capital gains tax exceeds 50% in many states. California will face a combined federal-state rate of 59%, New Jersey 55.3%, Oregon at 54.5%, Minnesota at 54.4%, and New York state at 53.4%."

Quote:
Having small business owners pay taxes on their individual tax returns, up to 39.6 percent from the current 37 percent
Imposing a second “death tax” — a mandatory capital gains tax at death — in addition to the current death tax
Imposing a 21 percent global minimum corporate tax rate, which goes beyond the Organization for Economic Development’s (OECD) current 15 percent global minimum tax rate
Quadrupling the tax on stock buybacks, which would impact Americans’ 401(k)s and other retirement accounts
A 30 percent federal excise tax on electricity used in cryptocurrency mining
A $37 billion tax on American energy
A 32 percent increase in Medicare taxes

"You can have 'Medicare-for-all' for people who are uncovered," [former New York mayor Michael Bloomberg] said, according to The Hill. "But...to replace the entire private system where companies provide healthcare for their employees would bankrupt us for a very long time."

[snip]

A recent poll by the Kaiser Family Foundation found that 56 percent of respondents were favorable toward Medicare For All, but also unsure what it entailed, with more than half saying they assumed they would be able to keep their existing coverage. When told that a plan would eliminate existing insurance, respondents moved form supporting it by a 14-point margin to opposing it by a 21-point margin.

[snip]

This created some confusion on Tuesday after a CNN report quoted a Harris aide who noted that she also supported the more moderate plans. That led to a wave of speculation that Harris was backtracking on her Monday town hall comments, which her campaign denied.

"Her preferred plan, as we have always said, is Medicare For All," Lily Adams, a spokeswoman for Harris, told NBC News in an email. "That’s her plan. She has cosponsored other bills to expand coverage, which is good."

Old but still interesting,

Senator Dianne Feinstein (D – CA) does. “Banning guns addresses a fundamental right of all Americans to feel safe.” – Associated Press, 18 November, 1993. “If I could have gotten 51 votes in the Senate of the United States for an outright ban, picking up every one of them; “Mr. and Mrs. America, turn ‘em all in,” I would have done it.” – 60 Minutes on CBS, 5 February, 1995. …“The National Guard fulfills the militia mentioned in the Second amendment. Citizens no longer need to protect the states or themselves.”

Senator Frank Launtenberg (D – NJ) did. “We have other legislation that all of you are aware that I have been so active on, with my colleagues here, and that is to shut down the gun shows.”

“I will get the NRA shut down for good if I become president. If we can ban handguns we will do it.”-Hillary Clinton interview with Des Moines Register Aug. 8th, 2015

Fmr. Senator Howard Metzenbaum (D – OH) did. “No, we’re not looking at how to control criminals … we’re talking about banning the AK-47 and semi-automatic guns.” – Constitution Subcommittee, 2 February, 1989

Vice President Joe “Buckshot” Biden (D – DE) does. “Banning guns is an idea whose time has come.” – Associated Press, 11 November, 1993 Representative Jan Schakowski (D – IL) does. “I believe…..this is my final word……I believe that I’m supporting the Constitution of the United States which does not give the right for any individual to own a handgun….” – Recorded 25 June, 2000 by Matt Beauchamp

Fmr. Representative Major Owens (D – NY) did. “We have to start with a ban on the manufacturing and import of handguns. From there we register the guns which are currently owned, and follow that with additional bans and acquisitions of handguns and rifles with no sporting purpose.”

Representative Bobby Rush (D – IL) does. “My staff and I right now are working on a comprehensive gun-control bill. We don’t have all the details, but for instance, regulating the sale and purchase of bullets. Ultimately, I would like to see the manufacture and possession of handguns banned except for military and police use. But that’s the endgame. And in the meantime, there are some specific things that we can do with legislation.”

Vermont State Mary Ann Carlson (D) does. “We must be able to arrest people before they commit crimes. By registering guns and knowing who has them we can do that. If they have guns they are pretty likely to commit a crime.”

New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo (D) does. ” …confiscation could be an option…” Sarah Brady, fmr. Chairman of Handgun Control Inc. (now The Brady Campaign) does. “…I don’t believe gun owners have rights.” – Hearst Newspapers, October 1997 “The House passage of our bill is a victory for this country! Common sense wins out. I’m just so thrilled and excited. The sale of guns must stop. Halfway measures are not enough.” – 1 July, 1988…

“Our main agenda is to have all guns banned. We must use whatever means possible. It doesn’t matter if you have to distort the facts or even lie. Our task of creating a socialist America can only succeed when those who would resist us have been totally disarmed.” – The National Educator, January 1994, pg. 3, to Fmr. Senator Howard Metzenbaum

Fmr. Chancellor of Boston University John Silber did. “I don’t believe anybody has a right to own any kind of a firearm. I believe in order to obtain a permit to own a firearm, that person should undergo an exhaustive criminal background check. In addition, an applicant should give up his right to privacy and submit his medical records for review to see if the person has ever had a problem with alcohol, drugs or mental illness . . . The Constitution doesn’t count!”

Fmr. United States Attorney General Janet “Waco” Reno does. “The most effective means of fighting crime in the United States is to outlaw the possession of any type of firearm by the civilian populace.”-- Written affidavit by Fred Diamond, 1984 B’nai B’rith meeting in Coral Gables, Florida

Deborah Prothrow-Stith, of the Office of Government and Community Programs and the Community Violence Prevention Project at the Harvard School of Public Health, does. “My own view on gun control is simple: I hate guns and I cannot imagine why anybody would want to own one. If I had my way, guns for sport would be registered, and all other guns would be banned.” The ACLU does. “We urge passage of federal legislation … to prohibit … the private ownership and possession of handguns.” ACLU #47.

“I now think the only way to control handgun use is to prohibit the guns. And the only way to do that is to change the Constitution. — M. Gartner, then President of NBC News, USA Today, January 16, 1992, pg. A9.

FIREARMS REFRESHER COURSE from our founders

1. "Those who hammer their guns into plows will plow for those who do not." ~Thomas Jefferson

3. Free men do not ask permission to bear arms.

4. An armed man is a citizen. An unarmed man is a subject

5.Only a government that is afraid of its citizens tries to control them.

6. Gun control it is not about guns; it's about control.

7. You only have the rights you are willing to fight for.

8. Know guns, know peace, know safety. No guns, no peace, no safety.

9. You don't shoot to kill; you shoot to stay alive.

10. Assault is a behavior, not a device.

12. The United States Constitution (c) 1791. All Rights Reserved.

13. The Second Amendment is in place in case the politicians ignore the others.

14. What part of 'shall not be infringed' do you NOT understand?

15. Guns have only two enemies; rust and politicians.

16. When you remove the people's right to bear arms, you create slaves.

17. The American Revolution would never have happened with gun control.

“Extravagant as the supposition is, let it however be made. Let a regular army,... and let it be entirely at the devotion of the federal government; ... the State governments, with the people on their side, would be able to repel the danger.
Besides the advantage of being armed, which the Americans possess over the people of almost every other nation,... forms a barrier against the enterprises of ambition, more insurmountable than any which a simple government of any form can admit of. Notwithstanding the military establishments in the several kingdoms of Europe, which are carried as far as the public resources will bear, the [European] governments are afraid to trust the people with arms...”

The president of the University of California said on Monday that the 10-campus university system would enforce policies banning encampments and the wearing of masks to conceal identity in response to pro-Palestinian protests across the country.

In a letter to the university community, UC President Michael V Drake said that his office and campus leaders have reflected on “the events of the past year” and sought ways to strengthen policies and procedures.

There is no reason to yell at anyone who works for you, let alone profanely. Such a high turnover rate is evidence of an unbalanced and unstable manager. What do voters, specifically Democratic/lean-Harris voters, think of this?

I'm specifically curious as to what Democratic/lean-Harris voters think of this statement: "As AG… Harris instructed her entire staff to stand every morning as she entered the office and say, ‘Good Morning General’. Gregory was also given instructions to never address Harris nor look her in the eye as that privilege was only allowed to senior staff members." This sounds like narcissism, to me...

That translates to a 92 percent staff turnover rate – and, say critics, is a likely sign that the issues on Team Harris have more to do with her than anyone else.

During research for my recent Harris biography ('Amateur Hour', published in January), the horror stories I heard from many of her former employees and read about in numerous reports – shocked me.

As far back as the 2010s, when Harris served as California's Attorney General, she was allegedly known for running a 'toxic' workplace.

Barbara O'Connor, a professor at California State University, Sacramento claimed that students who worked for Harris as interns frequently came back to her crying and saying that they 'felt they weren't valued.'

After Harris was elected in 2017 to represent California in the US Senate, working conditions reportedly did not improve.

Analysis showed her office had the ninth-highest staff turnover rate out of the 114 senators who served between 2017 and 2020.

Congressional sources told the Mail that she would berate subordinates in expletive-laden tirades.

Even those working for Republican lawmakers allegedly got caught in the crossfire.

In one instance, reported in my book, sources described how Harris lashed out at a room full of Senate staffers during the highly contentious 2018 Supreme Court confirmation hearings of Brett Kavanaugh.

On September 28 of that year, as Kavanaugh's nomination moved forward despite liberal outrage over allegations he'd sexually assaulted Christine Blasey Ford three decades earlier, Harris and her colleagues staged a walkout from the hearings.

Later, Harris was said to explode in anger outside the main Judiciary Committee room.

Witnesses recalled Harris cursing and ordering around staffers who did not even work for her.

'Anyone who's staff, get the f*** out of here!' she allegedly yelled.

On Aug. 19, the DHS published a 14-page report revealing more than 32,000 unaccompanied children did not attend their immigration hearings between the fiscal years of 2019 and 2023.

What’s more, nearly 300,000 of these kids that came across the southern border alone never even got a court date whatsoever.

This is one of the biggest scams on our border. No way should unaccompanied minors be allowed into our country.

Now we have 32,000 of them that didn't attend their court hearings? 300,000 of them weren't even given a court date? Even if they had a good many of them would not have attended their court hearings anyway.

My buddy, Johnny Gaines, my training officer, who I worked with for 10 years, was so dope smart, he was elected as the Chief of Police for the Department of Justice Bureau of Narcotic Enforcement. When Kameltoe became AG, she became his direct boss. Within one year, he quit, along with 50% of his crew, primarily due to her incompetence.

Prior to the pandemic, we had seven years in which federal spending as a function of GDP averaged 20.5% and was never more than 20.9%.

Federal spending from 2022 through 2024 has averaged 24.0% of GDP while deficits during the same period averaged 6.1% of GDP.

That's a 17% increase in post-pandemic spending over pre-pandemic spending and an average annual deficit increase of 56%.
