Yeah, I love tiling, but unless it is dead on straight and square to the eyes, your job looks messed up. I need a horizontal and vertical laser level.
I did tile for a living for a couple years, i learned it always has to be eye pleasing, doesn't have to be lever or square. Sometimes it has to be way out to look good. Say you are doing a floor and you are running along a wall that is 70 feet long and straight in from the entry, say the wall is 3 inches out of square from front to back, if you see that wall more than others you would normally follow it out of square instead of seeing the tile slowly dive into the wall. Obviously there are other focal points to look at but you usually take the most into consideration.

Just mowed the lawn. About 70 degrees and a 5 mph winds. If you drive one mile east, they have 40 mph winds, power is out, trucks laying on their side on the freeway.
Nick posted a new post on the flooring forum today. Quite a trick for someone who has been dead several years.

Yeah, I'm not going to go there. I'll let them clean it up.
Just in case, I pulled out my little generator and ran it for 20 minutes.

52 and windy here with a 50% chance of rain tonight. I'll believe it when/if it happens. We sure need it!
