Cincinnati has about 10" of snow so far and my son in DC says they have about 6" with more coming. That's pretty rare for DC to get a lot of snow.

Not for stuff inside, ive thought about it but usually just use a smart level. I have a laser set up i use for exterior stuff.

Also on a 110 year old house a string line is better than a level since the whole house has settled.

Yeah, I love tiling, but unless it is dead on straight and square to the eyes, your job looks messed up. I need a horizontal and vertical laser level.
