Yeah it's kinda like that. It also borders forestry land. I got it to hunt, my wife thinks it's for the lake. I think she forgot we live across the street from a lake.

When you're ready to build, check out the concrete siding that looks like logs. From why I've seen, its hard to tell the difference and a lot less maintenance.

My impression is you frame conventionally, insulate, weather seal and the siding goes on over the structural framing. But, I could be wrong, wouldn't be the first time....

I need to go try the new indoor range at my favorite gun shop.
My indoor gun range owner obviously went to Home Depot, and got themselves a 50 CFM fart fan to suck out the exhaust. You shoot more than one round a minute, and it gets so smoky in there, I'm sure you will contract lung cancer long before you run out of bullets.
