After the Army, I went to work for Allis-Chalmers. We had 2 Vietnamese men get hired and ended up on day shift, even tho it took a special skill or a lot seniority to get days, they had neither. I was there because I was one of three, out of 1800 employees who could build fuel tanks. They were temp employees waiting for the government to buy them a restaurant. And they got one after a few months.

I've seen this a few times, foreigners get grants from our government to open businesses yet there is no help for Americans to start businesses

just me venting;


We just got back from the grocery store.. nearly two hours to get through it !!! What a Cluster-**** of idiots !!!!
I DO NOT LIKE CROWDS.
...AND....
... $242 and change FOR TODAY ('0h, but we saved $42 w/coupons'), last week, eight days ago $187. And it is just the two of us!!!
Last six days we went out to eat; three times for breakfast, twice for dinner.
This week we are giong out TWICE for Thanksgiving 'Dinners' and at least three times for breakfast.
BTW; we have a walk-in Pantry, it is a 5'x8' room... the shelves are all packed. There is a bedroom closet ajacent with nothing but selves and most of those are full, HOW much food does this 108 lb woman NEED !!!!!!
...and then she 'plans' all these 'out-to-eats' with friends, most of which are just plain DULL and a BORE. Most of the time I sit there and try to decide who I would shoot first !!!

RANT OVER... no one has died....
