My question to all, not trying to seem racist, but have an honest question...

How, or better yet where, did all the Vietnamese folks, who fled their country for ours, get the money they have to buy their kids Mercedes Benz's? I see it daily and wonder, unless they were part of the North Vietnam regime, who filled their pockets with corrupt money?

After the Army, I went to work for Allis-Chalmers. We had 2 Vietnamese men get hired and ended up on day shift, even tho it took a special skill or a lot seniority to get days, they had neither. I was there because I was one of three, out of 1800 employees who could build fuel tanks. They were temp employees waiting for the government to buy them a restaurant. And they got one after a few months.
