Good morning Tom, a nice balmy 16 in the Corvette City.
That's my next career. Hod to call it quits at midnight, my back couldn't handle standing on the kitchen floor any more. So far have 25 pounds of sausage finished and in the freezer have more work to do today.
Today I'll be heading to the hospital at noon. My alcoholic buddy has been there for a week with pancreatitis and on the detox. He is under the assumption that his pancreas healed the first night he was there and he has a clean bill of health. They have been telling him he will die if he continues his way but he hears what he wants and will tell you what you want to hear so you will stop bugging him. I'm going down there so I can be in the room when the doctor tells him how his health really is so he cant tell me and his family that everything is good. When I was down there a couple days ago they wanted him to go straight to in inpatient rehab.
