Good morning all. My granite guy called and asked if he could install my last bathroom countertop and sink last night....saying he would be in and out in about 30 minutes. Well, 2 hours later, he was done, but then it was up to me to install the drain lines and install the faucet. Well, 5 minutes later, I broke those dumb plastic clips that connect the lines together, so off I went, to Home Depot, to get a new faucet. Of course, mama wanted something different. Well, I was done at 10:30 PM, but today I can barely walk. Back is out, knees are out, and I am sitting here sucking down pain pills. It does look nice but dammit, I'm too old for this **** anymore.

Morning guys, just got announced on the news that they are lowering our power costs by 7 percent. Anyone ever heard of that before? We already only pay 34 percent of what California residents pay

Chris, my problem is that I have yet to find a contractor who can do something better than me. You know I am really anal about gritting correct the first time, and contractors will find every shortcut in the book.

We are total solar here, and also sell power to APS! They actually send us a check twice a year (Arizona Public Service)
It is nice to not have an electrical and also no water bill's.

The solar was installed a year prior to our purchase, well was set another 200 ft deeper w/ a new pump at the same time, all others in the area are at `300-350ft.

I'm might go solar someday, haven't had a bill high enough to even consider the cost yet. Running the a.c. 24/7 whole house on electric and a well and my bill is barely over a hundred bucks and next month it will go down 7 percent due to all the hydroelectric making more power than expected. I'm sure my bill will go up once I get my pump hooked up to the river and start irritating all my property. My neighbor who irrigates 126 acres has an electric bill of 400 a month.
