Good morning everyone!
I've fed the dogs and the birds and made my coffee. It's sunny and 22 here.

I've thought about moving back to Ohio. I don't mind the cold and snow, but I do remember the natural gas bills in winter being in the mid to upper 200's and electric bills in summer being in the upper 200's to low 300's in my 2350 square ft house.

Got my backhoe fired up, fueled, and filled the tires. Ready to plow out the neighborhood. Supposed to get a foot or so of snow this evening.

When this cold breaks, I am going to the local carpet store to see if he needs anyone to do measures. If not, going to see if I can pick up a few repairs and/or restreches.

I took my new Lexus in for a free oil change, even though it only has 1200 miles. They said it wasn't necessary until I hit 10,000 miles, but I'm old school.
The mechanic said on the Lexus RX350 hybrid, there are 42 complete computer systems in it.
Rusty, I'm afraid the old days of mechanics is now IT specialists.

Very true, most all newer cars have modules for almost all sub sections of a vehicle.
Hell even brake bleeding can be done on a computer on some newer cars.

And some older. My 03 chevy work truck we just plug into our snapon computer and it does the brake bleeding.

There are still old guys needed for some things. There is only one guy in my area that can work on carbs. I went to school for them, many years ago.

I went to transmission school in the early 70s, bet I would not even recognize any of the parts in a new one.
