Afternoon everyone!

Just had a sponge bath by a very pretty young lady.
Not sure about her but I sure enjoyed it. LOL.
Dirty old man.

Gotta love Idaho!

The Bonner County Sheriff’s Office is looking for the public’s help to identify a Good Samaritan couple who assisted deputies during a violent incident in Spirit Lake on February 25th, 2023.

At about 1:10 pm, patrol deputies responded to a residence off Spirit Lake Cutoff Road, to an altercation, with a weapon involved. The first deputy observed the suspect fleeing the scene in a vehicle. A vehicle pursuit ensued.

Additional deputies, police officers from the City of Priest River Police and City of Spirit Lake Police responded to assist.

A Bonner County Sheriff’s Office patrol vehicle, enroute to assist the pursuing deputy became disabled, and the second deputy was unable to continue to assist his partner. A Good Samaritan couple stopped to help the second deputy.

The vehicle pursuit ended when the suspect crashed his vehicle into another vehicle on Spirit Lake Cutoff Road near Clagstone Road.

The Good Samaritan couple gave the second deputy a ride in their personal vehicle to the scene of the crash, where the first deputy was holding the suspect at gunpoint and assessing the injuries of the others involved in the collision.

The Good Samaritan couple arrived at the scene of the crash, with the second deputy. The second deputy assisted in taking the man into custody, without further incident. However, the Good Samaritan couple who transported the second deputy to the scene had left.

This Good Samaritan couple is just one example of the support our deputies receive every day from our community. We would love to know who this Good Samaritan couple is so we can show our appreciation for their assistance.

If you are this Good Samaritan couple or know who they are, please contact Patrol Sergeant Aaron Flynn, (208) 946-6685.

Please do not post names in the comments.

For a video of the arrest, check out the North Idaho News post on February 25th, 2023.

Thank you!
