It's getting more real and I am getting more excited. Never thought I would be happy closing down my company. It's a major stress relief and although I won't have good money coming in I think I will be happier.

my job was killing me 12 hour days 20-25 days in a row, when the opportunity came to get out early
i jumped and never looked back... best decision i ever made.
only real draw back is no toys unless i plan them out and do i really want them or just spend
money..
I have been stashing whatever money I can just incase. I am trying to have a years worth of bills paid in the bank before I go. Also paying off my new dually and after that, not a single loan except the house. I am selling two houses here in CA and will have enough proceeds to either pay off the new house or buy a few rentals, thats been my tough decision. It would be awesome to live debt free but I can also buy enough rentals to pay my mortgage easily and then have rentals paid off down the road. But as you know with rentals comes headaches. Stil up in the air on that one.
I have more toys that I know what to do with now so I would be good for the next several years but then they will all leave one by one like they always do, that and I probably couldn't afford to maintain my fleet anymore. I believe happiness is worth more than money. I see all these people that work their life away only to retire with no more than they had 30 years ago or just die. I would rather see my kids grow then only see what they turned out to be when its to late.

Unsolicited advice, pay off your house, pay off all your debts, then start saving for investing. Unbelievable how little you can live on when you're debt free.

Not to bad just tired of working. How about you.
I shot for 2 hours today, then went to a 2 hour lunch, and to top it off, I took a 2 hour nap. Ahh, the life of a retiree....
Obamacare kills me. I pay over a grand a month. If it wasn't for that life would be cheap.

That's good. I've been busy as usual. Just counting down the days until spring. I have some things to do on the ole bronco to get it ready for car show season. I'm still getting my crap ready to move south.
