60* out this morning, fired up the smoker and put 2 chuck roasts on for my son in laws b'day dinner...his choice. Sitting out on the patio drinking a cup of coffee listening to the birds beg me to fill up their feeder...get a job you noisey son of a bitches.
Sounds like a good day Tom, same weather here. Just filled up the chicken feeders to quiet them down.

I was at academy sports last night and they had a Cajun Injector, double door for a couple hundred bucks. Set it, forget it easy.
This summer I plan on rebuilding my BBQ/fridge island and adding a built in smoker. Tom, have you ever seem a smoker than could be built into a island?

Sure have, plan on doing the exact same thing when I get this place sold and move out of the city. You might want to look at the big green eggs. My hunting buddy did a outdoor kitchen with a sink, 2 fridges, a gas grill and built his egg into the island. Granite tops and a covered patio...nicer than most house kitchens.
They have been selling the green eggs inside of Costco this last week. Damn, they are pretty pricey.
