Morning. Took the other car to be fixed. Has a miss and I am just too sick to work on it.
Had a 2008 f250 work truck that I picked up at the auction. It's had a misfire code since I got it and was under powered and got bad mileage. Last week it had a lifter take out a cam. When my mechanic pulled it apart it had had it happen before and tgey just took the rocker arm off and threw it away. They have two intake valves so it still ran off the other just not good. Never seen anything like it.

When I was a kid my dad had a flathead Ford that would only run on 7 cylinders. We tore it down and they had put a post in the cylinder that would not fire. Apparently it had broken and scored the cylinder wall. So they just plugged it.

Sherie and I are not legally married but we have been together for 39 years. Missouri is not common law either.

Chris, this was written on another forum I frequent...

Buddy of mine is a civil engineer here in the Boise / Treasure Valley and he told me a month or two ago that residential developers are freaking out. They want their plans done faster than ASAP so they can finish the projects they currently have ready to kick off and get out of town before they go broke.

That is correct, this is the end my friend. Everything I hear on the news, local and national is we are headed downhill. Already getting the commercials to take advantage of when things are down. They make it sound like the average person will have the same money they do now when the economy crashes.

The development I work for has 6 more houses to build and some townhouses then we get the knife.

I'm in the same boat, just trying to make what I can and spend as little as possible until it ends.
