We lived for 5 years on 7 acres on a 2 mile long road with 3 houses on the whole road. The old women who owned it promised to sell it to us before they died. They didn't and an asshole nephew of theirs got it. I had done a lot of work on that house while we lived there. When we moved in all the acreage was thistles. When we moved out it was lawn.
That totally sucks.
I hear that story a lot.
