Had 10 guests for an early 4th party/dinner and cooked 2 tri tips and grilled fresh veggies. I did the 10-10-10-10 method, and turned out fantastic.
Put BBQ on hi heat 450-500 degrees, cook on one side for 10 minutes (change directions half way for criss cross grill marks), flip over for 10 minutes (again change directions for 10 minutes for grill marks), turn off BBQ but let cook inside for 10 minutes, take off grill and cover with foil for 10 minutes. Done!
