Went to the deer lease yesterday. Rabbit hunted, kicked up one and my buddy missed. Tried to find a couple covys of quail we have and they must be on vacation. Cut up a couple trees that have fallen over trails. Walked a couple valleys where the loggers have been and made a freaking mess. Made some plans on moving some stands. Pee'd in the woods, felt good to get rid of the indoor blues. Walking hills, valleys and briar patches ain't quite as easy as it use to be...

Yesterday morning 2 duck hunters were shot and killed on Reelfoot Lake, not far from where I hunted last week. Seems there's been an ongoing dispute between a couple guys in their 20s and a 70 year old guy in the next blind. Emotions got out of hand and 2 dead kids over a fucking duck.
