Had a driveshaft made for LJ
Me: the only grease fitting I want on the driveshaft for serviceability is on the slip joint.
Flunky: Sir your driveshaft is ready for pickup.
Me: why do all the U-Joint's and the centering ball have grease fitting?
Flunky: that's how Dana makes them
I asked my wife,is it just me or does everywhere you go to buy stuff just expect you to take what they give you?

Got it out of the garage, rinsed it off, took it down and got emission test and plates (they expired in January) went for a ride to charge the battery, now it's back in the garage...

Been working on my grandson's 1997 TJ this week. Poor thing has 225k miles, and still chugging along. Since his muffler is falling off, I set him up with a flow master muffler and he will get it welded on Monday.
