The only way to get to the neighborhood I grew up in was to go through this covered bridge. What a great place to grow up. We had so much more freedom back then than most kids do today. We ran the woods and fields playing in the creeks and picking buckets of blackberries. We rode our bikes for miles, and when we got a little older we rode our horses everywhere. Those were the days.

Kids just don't play outside anymore like we did. We could leave the house and be gone for hours and our parents wouldn't know where we were and thought nothing of it. A friend who still lives where I grew up posted that photo on Facebook and it just brought back a lot of memories.

A big thump just shook the house and my dogs are going nuts. Nothing on the cameras and my alarm is set. I turned the outside lights on and nothing 🤷
