A friend whose son lives in San Bernardino says their electricity has been out for 5 days.

Our neighbors 4 blocks north also had their power out for 5 days. The power company isn't taking chances of being sued again, so if your lines lead to the mountains, you're shut off. My house was the same way until 3 years ago, but they finally split my line away from the mountains.
