A vial lasts me 5 months, one shot every 15 days. Since I can't reach my butt the best for a shot I do my thigh and if I do right after a shower so my skin is softer and it's easier to *** in. Needle is small barely feel it. I feel 100 perce
How can you not reach your butt?
I know my Androgel says strictly on your shoulders, triceps and biceps. Anywhere else your chances of prostrate cancer increase drastically. I'm just wanting a new way. My T count is only about 400, but at my age, this is normal? Sorry Scout if this talk is TMI...

I can reach my butt but I like to see what I'm doing. The thigh was just another option that works well. Ill have to see if there are any risks in that location.

Did some research which i probably did before but the outer thigh is the best place to do injections. Also injections don't have a risk of prostate cancer and can actually reduce your chances of getting it. If I were you I would switch away from the gell.

When i got my prescription my doctor had it set for once a month but my pharmacist is the one that recommended twice a month to keep it from wearing off before my next injection. Just split the monthly dose.

Fighting A Fib again
Well, that really blows Rusty. Have you done the oblations? My sister had 6. Said it was very uncomfortable since all required a night in the hospital. But it works.

Chris, thanks for the info. As said, I'm going for my annual doc appt in 2 weeks, and I think I will try to change to the shots.

The Drs have not offered to do anything.

As has been told to me by concerned doctors. It is the loud forceful patients who get the best care. Put your foot down and demand answers. Your life depends on it.

My family has a history of A-Fib. I have 3 cousins and my own sister are dealing with it. All 3 have had oblations, one cousin was able to have a special pacemaker installed, so if it detects A-Fib, it will shock the heart automatically, and get you back into rhythm.
