You should have added your wife on the payroll, and added SS for her. It adds up big time. My attorney did that for a nice chunk of change in the future.

She was on the payroll for years back when we made money. With the economy we just cover costs and that's about it.

I remember on one of my knee replacements, they shorted me 4 Oxytocin. I went to the pharmacy to complain, and they admitted running out, but now have them in stock. I asked for my 4 last pills, but told me they needed the doc to write a new script. On a Saturday afternoon. So there I was crying and screaming in pain in the CVS drive up window. Guess what...it worked! I got the 4 needed Oxy's.
