Finally have new tires on one of my mountain bikes. It's an easy trail but it's a start. I haven't been mountain biking in a few years. It's going to take a little time to get my biking endurance back

I have 5 bikes hanging from the rafters that I've never used. My knees don't like that swinging movement. Sure looks fun!

I do a lot of fast walking with the dogs and a lot of hard yard work, but mountain biking -or any biking- takes more endurance to get up those hills. It's going to take me a few months to get where I'm happy with my ability.

Those are good tires. Did you go tubeless?

Evening all. Painted the exterior of tge rental today. Tomorrow I'll do the porches and trim then we have a week of rain.

Yes, the front is Maxxis Minion DHF and the rear is Maxxis Ardent. Both my MTN bikes are tubeless. Pretty sure my other one needs a new front fork so it'll have to wait a little before it gets up and running again.

What size are they? I have a 29er hard tail and a mix 27 rear 29 front downhill bike.

Both of mine are 29ers. The green one is a Niner Rip 9 alloy trail bike and the orange one is a Niner Jet 9 alloy cross country bike.

It doesn't appear that my mom will recover from this stroke. Shes not able to safely swallow food and they had to put her on a ventilator yesterday. She woke some when my brother was there today and was able to nod yes and no to questions and squeeze his hand. Her living will requests to not be kept alive by respirators or tube feeding if she's in a terminal state so I think tomorrow we're OK'ing removing the respirator. They removed it for awhile today and she did OK so we'll see.

It's a Santa Cruz, so it's in a ballpark of its own already being all carbon fiber and weighs nothing but as for riding I like it. The reason for it is a smaller rear tire to get a little more torque and ease of pedaling with the bigger front to roll over stuff. It's a real comfortable riding bike to. Even with the rear suspension it's almost easier to pedal than my hardtail.

It's a Santa Cruz, so it's in a ballpark of its own already being all carbon fiber and weighs nothing but as for riding I like it. The reason for it is a smaller rear tire to get a little more torque and ease of pedaling with the bigger front to roll over stuff. It's a real comfortable riding bike to. Even with the rear suspension it's almost easier to pedal than my hardtail.

The green one I actually rode and put dibs on it for when they were ready to sell it. They rent them for a season and maintain them really well and then sell them for less than half the original price. Being small frames they weren't used nearly as much as the larger ones. I take good care of them because no way can I replace them at the prices they are now.

I got great deals on mine to. My black and orange one is a norco, it was the last year they were making hardtails so it was basically clearance off, the santa cruz a guy put a down payment on and never came back, after a year I paid half price. Both being XL frames nobody really wants them. Most big guys don't ride bikes.
