I think I officially am ready to win the lotto.

So my doctor sent me to pain management due to my back issues, she wants to see if an injection might help, I had to fill out paperwork and submit to drug tests, the paperwork is all about being a pill popper. It must be a big issue for what I have gone through and I'm not even trying to get any pills.

I have a degenerative hip. Every time I go to a doctor, they try to get me to take opioids. No thanks.

Why dont you get a hip replacement Rusty?
Not that bad. I get a steroid shot every two or three years and the pain goes away until the next time. Most doctors are not qualified to give the shot so they want to give me narcotics. Pain free right now, have been for several years.

I'm in the same boat, back is not bad enough for surgery and I dont want it anyway but it's bad enough to hurt like hell everyday. I'm avoiding the narcotics myself, I have a prescription filled for the bad days but they are not that often. I havent picked up my last two prescriptions. I do take way more ibuprofen than I should and that is why I am looking into the injection. Whiskey alone will kill my liver, dont need to add anything more.

Ibuprofen gave me chronic kidney disease, so be careful.
I got a wood floor question for you. I have a bunch of real wood flooring planks and want to do my bathroom to get rid of the carpet, what is the best way to put it down? This is on my main floor with a wood subflooring, part is above my basement and part crawl. Should I glue it or nail it? I hate the hollow sound of a floating floor.

Either one will work, but since it's over a basement and crawl I would find a glue with a built in moisture barrier. I think Bostic makes one.

Another question, on my existing hickory floors there are two spots maybe 1 foot square that have what look like old water damage, discolored and whatnot, other than color and finish the wood is in good shape, so I need to redo the entire floor or can I sand that area and refinish in Hope's that everything matches in the end?
