Morning barrie, I just spent the last hour and a half filling out an application for a good state job when I find out the opening closed Friday. Dangit. Couldn't sleep all night thinking about how I got screwed on those footing jobs. Towing my backhoe up to the mountains in a few, have a little job to do and take care of some stuff for me
That sucks that the state job was closed, those state jobs are rare around here.

We have about a quarter inch of rain so far from Rosa..., the main part of the storm is still south in the Phx area with some flooding. We won't see it until late afternoon or evening.

Saw a really nice 8 pointer run across the road on our way to the fishing lake yesterday morning, saw about 5 does along the road, yesterday afternoon we took the kids for a ride around the park and saw more. The kids saw deer, I saw deer jerky...

I was living 3 blocks from the town square and two deer were standing on the corner of my block one morning. Nearest area away from town was about 3 miles.

They are not good people, they think they are but when you have no problem ripping people off and play dumb about it.
A scenario, you have a mormon contractor give you a quote, he quotes 3k to do a job. You agree and he does the job and when the bill comes it is for 13k and tells you it is because it took longer than expected. Same contractor hires contractor with agreement to pay 2200 for a job. Job takes 4 times longer due to him not relaying information when bidding. You bill 2200 because that is what you agreed on, he pays 1300 because someone else verbally quoted that to him. Now before you say that is just one guy, I have seen this a few times with that penny punching cheap ass two faced religion
