I'm in Ft. Collins, Colorado. Nice city with lots of pretty college gals. Sure wish I remembered what they were good for!
My brother worked for Boeing for years. He was trained as an engineer and machinist. He said that engineers were always designing things that could not be built. So his job was to figure out a way to redesign them.Just finished putting new plugs in the truck, what a friggin nightmare. 5 of the 8 cylinders were a bitch. Who designs this crap anyway...must of been a woman with PMS, suffering from migraines and she just found out her husband's sleeping with his 21 y/o blonde secretary....
That's the way it was explained to me.I have a feeling that vehicles are designed for ease of assembly and not ease of maintenance.
I thought the new trucks go like 8 million miles before they need plugsJust finished putting new plugs in the truck, what a friggin nightmare. 5 of the 8 cylinders were a bitch. My grandfather started as an engineer for Firestone designing tires and jet fuel tanks and whatnot, he then went to aerojet and designed military stuff for many years til he retired, he designed the 30mm found in the A10My father in law was a dept head for Chrysler in their electrical design unit, my brother in law is a cad craftsman for GM, he designs under hood systems for Chevy truck. I understand why things are the way they are...
When are you gonna retire and come work on my equipment?I have a feeling that vehicles are designed for ease of assembly and not ease of maintenance.
