Got some baby backs on the smoker, thought I might have to light a fire, but it doesn't look like I'll have to waste the characol.

Sounds excellent Ken.

Ribs, 3 hours in the smoker, just wrapped them in foil with butter and brown sugar for an hour, then an hour on the grill at low heat and sauced with some bbq sauce the last 30 minutes.

Skin off the back of the baby-backs, lightly score the meaty side; Brown sugar, Paprica, Crushed garlic, apple cider vinager into a paste consistancy, brush on ribs yesterday morning, wrap up and let marinade about 25 hours! Medium to low heat 200-250 in smoker with half hickory/half apple wood for five to six hours, brush some of the 'sauce/paste' on them then high heat on the grill for about 10-15 minutes to glaze them!!!!!! <<that is some goooood eatin'

I agree for the most part cause, low, slow and we like to keep it simple on spices and rubs tho. Taking the silver skin off is a must at our house.

98* degrees out, sitting in the covered shade with the fans running, just popped a top on a Sam Adams Summer Ale. Life is good today.

There use to be an older gentleman I use to see Sunday mornings at church and I'd ask him" How are you this morning Mr. Carter?" He'd always reply "Just thankful for another day on the green side of the dirt." The older I get, the better I understand his reply.
