In other news they excepted my offer on that acre of land up in the mountains for 1/3 its value, I'm gonna make it into a developed RV site with hookups and sell it next year. Should be able to make a great profit.
 
I don't like the aluminum clad or the coorogated sides. Seen to many start to delaminate and the coorogated sides have globs of caulk on the corners. And yes, none are made to house quality, that's for sure.
 
My in laws had two. A regular camper trailer and a big 5th wheel one with slide outs. Both leaked after a few years.

I agree they are ugly and dated, just easier to fix leaks when it happens. My enclosed trailer has a fiberglass nose that is held together by caulking because they don't make that nose anymore
