No reception in the country of Texas. We did 1375 miles, 48 gallons of gas. Exhausted. Never again!

48 gallons of fuel almost got me out of California. Glad you made it alright and glad you feel my pain, road trips are not for short stents
Well tomorrow morning I am flying back to California just so I can enjoy another road trip, stay tuned.

Howdy Tom, raining as usual, flood watch in effect.
Figures. Severe weather alert where I am at. I'm on the third floor of the hotel. 6" of rain, thunderstorm blew out our transformer meaning power is out everywhere. Nice start to this vacation.

We got lucky. 50 miles south of here, they got 4-5 inches of rain in 48 hours.
We are supposed to get 3-4 inches by tomorrow morning. Over half the state is under flood watch.
