I bought a 55" TV for 200 bucks at Walmart on black friday a few years ago, it works for me but then again I don't watch TV at all, my kids watch it a few hours a day. I like good quality but I don't think they make good quality electronics. They all break far too easy for the cost of them.

Well, I have buyer's remorse. I got mesmerized by the quality of them Ultra 4k Samsung tv's. I got the 65" with a 240 refresh rate. The reason I spent the extra money was the Directv salesman inside Costco told me these have the Directv tuner inside, so just give Directv a call, they will flip a switch, and off you go. Well, 90 minutes on the phone with some split tail from India, she tells me that it will cost $475 to get a 4k tuner that will run the tv. Well, although it took 3 hours to mount it on the wall, I am ready to rip it down and shove it up Costco's ass. Damn thing cost me $2016.00! I do have a Directv tech coming over Sunday and hopefully he will get my 4k running with no added costs.

Costco 30 day return policy. Shove it up their ass.

They will take it back no questions asked. Best return policy of any store I've seen. We had direct tv from Costco for about 12 months, crappy reception. They pissed me off royally. Told the installer when he mounted the antenna that the neighbors tree would block the signal, he wasn't concerned, every time the wind blew we lost it.....cost me to break the contract and go back to freaking comcast.

Actually Costco has a 90 day return policy, no questions asked. Tom, if you can find their 65" for a cheaper price, I'd show them that price and get money back. Also, I spent ~$90 for an extended warranty. I get 2 years for basic warranty, 2 additional years since I used their credit card, and another 3 years for the extended warranty. That is 7 years, free replacement if something goes wrong. The TV I just had to replace was only 7 years old, and a 50", but it did have the full 3D version, which to be honest, we used once. That TV was $2400 and it is in the trash currently.

I discovered that Electronic Express was $30 more when I matched model numbers. Damn, I was hoping that they were cheaper and i was going to take a copy to Costco and get a refund. No such luck. I did contact the Costco manager and explained the Directv salesmen who was going to get an answer from Directv corporate as to why they lied to me.
