Another rental, you'll own most of the town soon.
Working on it. Gotta retire somehow. In 30 years if I have died from the stress it might pay off.

Just came from across the street where they had a huge party for their daughter, who just graduated from the police academy. Lots of cops, booze, a taco man, and doughnuts. I felt like I was home!

Well, you weren't far from home.

It's already profiting. But not enough to consider it profit. Two have a 15 year loan and every bit of extra goes towards paying them off. Hopefully in 15-20 years I will be doing ok.

The one I'm looking at is a cash buy and would break even in 6 years of rent.

Nice, glad for you, hopefully it will all work out.

Wife came to me today and wants a new car. Does she think we are rich or something?

Hell yes, she deserves something practical for that climate. How about a Range Rover?
They seem to have no resale so they probably don't last long.

So, what kind of car are you looking at???
She likes the Jeep grand cherokee and I like the Durango, both are basically the same vehicle with different body and interior. the third row seat comes in handy.

A Mercedes SUV would be fitting.

You guys are killing me, I am trying to go cheap not break the bank.

I have discovered I like dirty, dry martinis.

I wish I had one, I'm at the dealer, looks like another truck. She likes the ram 1500 big horn. Not the used one but the pretty new one.

I don't fit in midsize cars to well, that's why we went away from the Durango. We ended up walking from the dealer when the low balled our trade in. Headed to car max just to see what they would offer and it was double. While waiting I walked their lot and ended up buying a 2016 ram 1500 4x4 outdoor addition eco diesel.
