Finally, sorted all my moms stuff and cleaned out her apt. Now for another sorting and then a yard sale. Found a bunch of old pictures that brought back a ton of memories. Pitched enough stuff to open a salvage store, I just can't keep everything or start a museum devoted to her.
Its given me inspiration to purge my junk, the keepsakes to me will be trash to the kids when I'm gone, I don't want a museum of my crap.

Been there done that with my Mom, I feel that I have done a fair job of not collecting or hanging on to a lot of stuff.
In 1999, I was responsible to clean out my ex's aunt's house, who was found dead inside. I got 3-4 dumpsters and had Goodwill pick up nearly everything else. Two of the crystal glass lamps I gave to Goodwill, only to find out weeks later in the local newspaper that an unknown person had given them two crystal glass lamps, which were from some famous maker and were worth $ thousands. Oh well.....
