Wasps keep their stinger and can sting repeatedly. Only bees leave their stinger in you. It got me right in the top front of my shoulder joint. It never really swelled, only itches and hurts.... mostly just annoying. I got plenty of revenge though. I killed 2 more today and haven't seen any more show up in a few hours.
