Yes they did, Nashville and Clarksville both lost people.
I saw a fire department building that got blown away as if it was cardboard. I would have thought fire stations would have more stringent building codes?
One would think so, especially in a tornado prone area.

I have watched two of them close up. Saw one go up a river when I was a kid. Saw one bounce and go over a valley I was in, early 80s.
