It is bo hotter than when I was a kid.
No AC at home, none in elementary or high school
We didn't have a TV until half way thru my senior year. 1965
...he drug it home "used b/w" from a job he was doing

We had one in elementary school, around 1954. A customer could not afford to pay my dad and gave him their TV. We could have used the money more.
