In other news had a deer get stuck in my fence today and hurt itself. It was close to the highway so i had the sheriff come shoot it so some California transplant would call me in for poaching.

Cow had a calf today that died during birth. Brought a calf from a friend's cow who wont feed it. Skinned the dead calf and made a coat for new calf to smell like old calf so momma will take it. Been a long day of animals here.

Update on Barrie.
Another neighbor stayed with him last night. He is able to use the nasal oxygen tube now. That's a big Improvement. He's still in ICU but it sounds like he's a tad bit better. We had a heck of a time trying to find the race on his TV yesterday but he found it and he was happy about that. LOL

Yeah, this place isn't the same without Barrie's cheery attitude. I hope he gets to come home soon!
