This whole getting old is catching up with me. So much stuff I need to do but just can't do it between a broken arm, a nose that's healing and just being worn out. Went out to spray weeds and got real dizzy so I came back in to sit down.

You need to cut back to 10-12 hour days maybe.

And this old man could not sleep at all last night. Picked my stepson up from work at 6, mowed my yard, went grocery shopping, picked up my car from the shop and washed it. And that was before noon.

I'd love to only work 10-12 hours. I can't wait for the world to implode so I can have some time off.

I was just commenting that last night was the first time since February's shoulder surgery that I slept 8 hours. I mowed the lawn, bought a new 5 gal gas can ($29) and filled it up with premium gas (at $6.79 a gallon) which cost more than the frickin gas can. I've rebuilt my generator, just purchased a new battery for the electric start, and I am ready for the electric black outs to begin. I also pressure washed my back patio, and began to repaint it with no slip paint, but decided not to when the temperature hit 100 degrees. It will be tomorrow morning's project. Oh, I also went swimming and cleaned the pool filter as well. Amazing what you can do when you get a good night's sleep.
