I have understood why anyone wanted a diesel, They are noisy, they stink. Fuel costs more. And they are more expensive to fix.

I tell everyone, if you don't absolutely need a diesel, stay away. Cost more to buy, always have problems, problems are expensive. They don't make a gas truck that does what I need. I need to tow 30k. It's either a diesel dually pickup or a big rig, I don't like driving big rigs daily so I get the ram 3500. Dot rules change once you go bigger than a one ton too. That truck is double what I'm used to spending. My wife wants me to get a nicer truck since I live in it.
