Likely, I will be. I'm bringing another employee just incase. This kid is off his rocker.
What's the cause of the dismissal?
He is 18. Thinks he is God's gift to operating equipment. He has butt heads with all my employees, no one will work with him. He tore a 2k track on one of my excavators and blamed it on others. Today he was digging by a sidewalk and did damage to two panels and 10 feet of curb that will have to be replaced. He ran my skid steer so hard it was puking coolant. It's never done that before. He has worked for me 9 days and wants a raise and company truck. Tells me all my employees suck. All the ones that make me money with little issue. He got my truck driver and operator to want to quit today. I should have fired him today but didn't have a check book on me.
Definitely sounds like just cause.
