Sorry to hear Chris, not a easy recovery.
I'm surprised she is still alive. She is only in her 60s but had a brain tumor about 16 years ago. She had a stroke on the operating table and every day has been a party since. Figures if she is gonna die might as well enjoy her time. She also has copd. She is supposed to be in therapy and go to the gym just to maintain normal human functions. Instead she sleeps in, gets up. Might have a piece of toast then has a few strong cocktails and passes out. Does the same day after day and almost never leaves the house. Same old same old.

Did the idiot push her down?
The idiot has gotten much better lately, he is off drugs. His big issue now is he does nothing to help her but it's also hard to help those that won't help themselves.

Fun fact, the little town I went fishing in has a school mascot called the maniacs, there was a picture of a crazy person and I learned it was because they have a state mental hospital in that town. Only In idaho is that acceptable

When I was a kid, the local asylum had a team "the lunatics". There was over 2,000 patients and the town was only 7,500.

She is going to have a tough time of it with that attitude

Warmed up yesterday, sun came out, snow/ice, mostly gone. I think you could sink knee deep in the yard right now. I wonder what's the next historical event we have coming up?

Mother in law had hip replacement today. Since her health is not good she will be kept in a rehab facility for 8 weeks. Nothing could be better for her.
