Same here Rusty, the contractor I did work for in Maine decided one night to do a rear brake job himself, he wound up calling me because he took both sides apart before putting the new shoes on at least one side.

The E brake cable can be confusing. And I have seen the adjuster put in backwards.
Some can just be a outright pain in the ass. LOL.
I started when discs were first coming out and man that technology.
The other chevy is fine. It gets a sticky lifter or something that will need to be taken care of but other than that it's in good shape. I use it from time to time for work stuff. It's a comfortable driver. 2500hd with a service bed. Rides nice. I mean to drive it more but dont for some reason. Probably because it doesn't have a back seat for the kids.
