Honestly if I were to do it again I would have just got the hemi. The fuel mileage is slightly better, not even close to what they advertise. Supposedly it would get 28mpg, I've never seen 28mpg in it. Towing a light trailer from California to Idaho I got 15-17. Empty maybe 21-23. Which is better than gas but at the cost of 6k more for the truck then 50 cents a gallon more for fuel I dont believe it's worth it. Then any repairs will be triple a gas motor. It sounds cool to own the diesel but it's a girls diesel, sounds like a wind up toy and has no lower end to speak of. Got to wind it up to move anywhere. It's a quick truck but so us the hemi. Now if you are comparing it to a 4cyl or v6 3.7 jeep motor, get the diesel.Thanks, good to know.
