Got a call from my wide that our well and our AC both quit. They have both been having issues

Got both the well and ac going but not for long. Ac is on its last leg. Need a new condenser and something us tripping tge reset for the fan itself which was replaced 2 years ago. Well pump I still dont know, everything tests good so I'm replacing one part at a time. Contactor is tripping its reset so its next on the list to replace.

I dont know how people do it if they dont know how to work on things.

Sounds like you have a good handle on the issues.

Check the Pressure Switch for the well pump, just went through that myself.
On the AC; isolate and test the Capacitors, it can be done with a simple meter, GOOGLE the instructions, easy to find.

I've done that several times over the last few weeks. Everything tests fine, it will work fine for a day to a month then start tripping overloads, reset it a few times and it's good to go again. Had my electrician over and everything tested fine for hit, only thing he found is the overload itself running a little warm. I'm going to replace it and see if it changes anything.
