They are saying that next week could be worse. Farming is done here. No planting this year. Most of what was already in, is destroyed.
They sure do have a lot of quit in them we haven't even reached corn planting yet.

Getting too late here for it to mature. Winter wheat washed out.
Raining hard here now.
There is other options other than bailout subsidies. There us still pumpkin, squash, and a dozen other things that will grow but a government bailout is always easier.

Right now, most of the fields are under water. We are supposed to get more rain next week than we had this week. If/when it dries some, most will plant hay. It can be very profitable. Corn is the main crop here. It is too late now to plant it. Many of the farmers here plant two crops a year. They will try the second, if it is dry in June.
