What did you eat for dinner?

Fish and corn on the cob after coming home late from a city council fight. At least I made the newspapers for calling out their inappropriate behavior.

So last week during the fires my wife and I donated a truck load of Jerky, energy drinks, snacks and water to our local fire station. I didn't notice there was a news crew there and for the last several days many of my customers have been calling and texting. I'm a little bitter because I really don't want any new work for a while.

Other half went to Drunko Bunco. She said I needed to use up the cauliflower before it goes bad. I diced up polska kielbasa, added a few eggs and cheese, and kinda made an omelet. So an omelet and cauliflower. Not so yum, but it filled the gut.

Sausage, zucchini, baby tomato, walnut stir fry topped with a little shredded cheddar.

Soup, friggin soup, with leftover cauliflower tossed into it.

I miss a good pastrami. Best I ever had was from a liquor store in Rancho Santa margarita.
