Went to King's Fish house and had Sand Dabs, baked tater and spinach. I yam what I yam!

BLTs, potato salad, sliced cucumbers, grapes.
I had hush puppies, lightly battered fried shrimp, baked sweet tater, cole slaw. And Dr. Pepper. Very good as always.

Darn, I'm starved, but there is no food in this damn house
The place I went to use to be out in the country. And is still a cinder block building. BUT, in the last 5 years or so, there is a huge new Toyota plant and subsequent feeder businesses coming up. BUT, Greenbrier Restaurant is still the same as it was when I was 13 and going there.
Their hush puppies are the best around. And have been since I was 13.

Three hour ride but I've gone further for good food.
We do have orange chicken in the freezer that came from Costco. Sounds like my dinner plans!

Best place to eat here is an old truck stop 15 miles from town. Two eggs, meat, potatoes, coffee $10. She finally went up from $9. She is back to cooking, can't find anyone. The day shift waitress is 19 and makes $500-$600 a week in tips.
Sounds like my kind of place.
