He is a couple years younger than me and he has his own set of health issues. The COVID-19 lockdown was pretty much the nail in the coffin.

The retaining wall block gets delivered Monday and they start building the walls Tuesday.
I could only go so far toward the back fence with the lower wall because of the septic system and leach line location. But it's going to be a massive improvement. The upper wall will level it out to the back of the house and that will be done entirely in pavers. Between the lower wall and upper wall I'll plant native perennials for the hummingbirds. Below the lower wall will be gravel to the back fence. I've got a few trees planted along the back fence I'll have him use boulders to section them off.

That is going to be very nice when you are finished. And you'll probably need to rest after laying all those pavers.

Thank you, I'll be so happy to be done with all the dusty dirt my dogs bring inside!
